In Venice, in the fourteenth century, on the occasion of Carnival the Coriander fruits were candied and thrown as a good omen. This is the origin of the custom of paper confetti.

Taste: mildly sweet, pungent, of candied exotic fruit, aromatic.

Pairing

The aromatic profile and the strong flavor make this honey perfect in combination with lard or grilled meat. Excellent with fresh broad beans and paired with fresh pecorino.
