Description
Obtained from the root of a perennial herbaceous plant native to southern Asia, Curcuma Longa is a relative of ginger. Also known as "Indian saffron" due to its typical yellow / gold color, it is widely used in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine. To make the most of its multiple properties and to better savor its distinctly oriental flavor, it is recommended to use it raw. In addition, you can simply add a couple of teaspoons of turmeric to the cooking water of the pasta or a sprinkle directly on the dressing or in salads.
