Honey vinegar is the oldest vinegar known from man. It was in fact already known and used by the Ancient Egyptians, many years before the discovery of the vine. The only ingredients are water and the finest organic acacia honey of our production. During the fermentation and acetification process, this precious mixture does not undergo any pasteurization in order not to destroy the bacteria and enzymes present. Honey vinegar therefore retains all the beneficial properties of honey and is a much more complete and nutritious product than traditional vinegar. Extremely fragrant, this vinegar has a delicate and pleasantly acidulous flavor with a slight aftertaste that brings back to honey. The acetic degrees, slightly lower than those of wine vinegar, make it less aggressive for the stomach and extremely digestible even for those suffering from acidity.
Water, Mead (water, organic acacia honey 15%). Contains sulfites.
Honey vinegar has the same multiple uses as the traditional one. It is in fact an excellent dressing for salads and vegetables as well as an extraordinary ingredient for sweet and sour. It can be used to cook meat and roasts (the scent of honey vinegar will spread throughout the kitchen during cooking). Also excellent on fish or rice dishes (preferably cold).
